The Wisdom of the Labrador (Sunday, Dec. 02, 2001 - 12:14 a.m.) I need to start this with a quick thank you to somebody named Dizzy. He saved me from myself today. You see, I had an errand to run up in Santa Rosa today. Among other non important things, Santa Rosa does happen to be home of the best bagel place in Northern California. So, despite the fact that I live on my own now (read, nobody to take any) I bought a baker's dozen. I have been really good at watching what I eat, so this was a really bad move on my part. Anyhow, I brought them home and put them on the counter. I forgot they were there when I went out tonight. Needless to say, Dizzy (who I may or may not have mentioned happens to be a dog) got them and ate ALL of them. I think he was trying to tell me not to blow my diet. He owes me eight bucks now. Not that he ever pays me back, being canine and all. Still, I didn't need them and am glad. I got a very interesting Tarot reading yesterday. Basically reassuring me that I will be ok. I needed that. -CRbE |
