For the first time in nearly 16 years, I am pet-less. Pete took Dizzy. I know it was the right thing to do. He's a huge, active dog and I live in a rather small apartment. Pete sits around the house all day, whereas when I have a day off I like to go out. Even when Pete does go out, he has a yard and a cat to keep him company there. I know it was the right thing to do. But it's really lonely here now.
