I have reached a new level of adventurousness today. Is that a word? Oh well. Today was the annual banquet for the Martial Arts school where my husband has been studying Kung Fu. It was a ten course meal. I promised myself I would try everything non pork. When I said this, I did not know they would be serving jellyfish.

Yes you heard me correctly. Tonight I ate three jellyfish tenticles. I said tenTicles you dirty pervs, not the other thing. But yes, I ate sea boogers.

They actually tasted pretty good. They were a bit sweet, not unlike shrimp. However the texture was quite strange. You would bite down on it and your jaw would literally start bouncing off of it. It's like rubber.

Other than that the day was fairly ordinary. A freezing cold house gives new appreciation for folding clothes fresh out of the dryer.
