Wow. I can actually write. The last few times I tried the computer wouldn't let me. Mean computer. It's such a bitch.

Anyhow, I have 3 days until I go to Phoenix. I get to see Ken, Jackie, and Josie. I should be really excited about seeing all of them. And deep down I am, but one seems to be overshadowing the others right now.

I had a date on Sunday night. Really nice guy. We went to a Thai restaurant (note to women: Don't wear a short skirt on a date unless you are fairly confident you will not be at one of those traditional eastern restaurants where you have to take your shoes off and sit on the floor). We talked a while, and he had nice eyes. He is also bald. I don't mean shaven. I don't mean receding hairline. I mean, middle age, thick hair around the sides and shiny on top bald. And he's only 28. I shouldn't be that shallow but I am. I did not get a kiss, but did get asked out on a second date. I was feeling pretty ok when I got back. Then I got on the computer, and within 30 seconds of logging onto ICQ, Ken IM'd me. That elevated my mood to giddy. I actually went to hug my moniter. I know Quarters is mentally bitch slapping me right now. Anyhow, he wants to come visit for a week or so this summer. That would be friggin' awesome. I have decided to swear less. I had been really good for a few years, and ever since all this crap happened last fall, have slipped back into it. Just read my archives. I was perfectly classy in my language until September.

Oh, one other wierd thing. When I got home from the date, while I was online, Pete called to ask how my date went. Yeah. That's normal ON MARS.

I hope to write back at least once before I leave for ARIZONA!!!!
