Curges (2001-05-08 - 12:46 a.m.)
I'm just way too bendy. That is what my Yoga teacher said. We are supposed to work these poses until we feel the muscles tighten, and that never happens to me. I can still, at the age of nearly 28 and the weight of, well, none of your beeswax, get my ankle behind my head. Only on the left side, granted, but still. It is a curse. It is unstretchable. I found out there is actually a name for a problem I have been having my whole life. It is Restless Leg Syndrome. My mom had it too. We always referred to it as 'having the curges' and were never able to fully explain the sensation. It feels like you need to stretch your legs, and no matter how much you stretch it doesn't relieve that feeling. The yoga is definitly helping, though. And I still haven't figured out if there's anything to make it go the f$%#$%@#ck away. -CRbE
